Scott Kadlec, Ph.D. has
over 20 years management experience in the Information
Technology sector. In 1980 he co-founded CMS/Data Corporation,
which developed financial management solutions for the
professional services market. In 1990, he founded PC
DOCS, a global document management software company.
Since 2000 he has served on the Board of Directors and
Advisory Boards of several high tech companies. Scott
holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science
from Stetson University and a Ph.D. in Government from
Florida State University.
Jan Bozard Latour has over 15 years
volunteer experience in university alumni affairs. Jan
has been on the Stetson University Alumni Board of Directors
since 1989. She has held multiple positions in her alumni
work and was a member of the Stetson University Board
of Trustees from 1993 to 1995. She received the University’s
Distinguished Service Award in 1995. Jan has taught
school in St. Petersburg, Florida and is a 1978 graduate
of Stetson University with a Bachelor’s degree
in Education.
Michael Matthews, Ph.D. has worked in economic development throughout Africa for over fifteen years. This work has taken him to 42 African countries throughout the continent; alongside farmers to foreign ministers. He has worked with the US Agency for International Development, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, and various foreign governments. Michael currently works on the program management of the President's African Education Initiative.
M. Lee McGraw is a 1979 graduate of Stetson University. She’s currently the Director of Development for Northern Human Services, a mental health and social services agency serving northern New Hampshire. A Vice President for her family’s philanthropy, the Elizabeth B. McGraw Foundation, Lee has served as Chairman of the Lupus Foundation of New England, and works also with Boston Ballet (Trustee Emeritus), WGBH (Boston's PBS affiliate); and is a former member of the board (1985 - 2003) of Stetson University.
Scott McGraw has a professional background
in micro-computer applications. He has volunteered with
several environmental and social justice organizations
including the Sierra Club and Equal Justice. Scott is
currently building affordable homes with Habitat for
Humanity.
Dr. Claudius Mundoma graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2003, with an
Honors in Chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from West Virginia
University and is currently a faculty member in the Institute of Molecular
Biophysics at Florida State University where he is Director of the Physical
Biochemistry Facility. A former UNCF-Pfizer Biomedical Research Fellow, he is a
published scientist who has advocated for science education as a member of the
Congressional Biomedical Research Caucus in Washington, DC. He is faculty
advisor of the FSU- African Student Association. His interest is in capacity
building through advising students on career advancement through civic
engagement.
Annie Nagengast graduated from the
University of Notre Dame in 2003, with a Bachelor of
Fine Arts. Her concentration being photography, she
has documented her many journeys abroad through photographs.
An advocate for affecting social change, she has volunteered
in a variety of efforts. In 2001 she worked with individuals
with AIDS and HIV. In 2005, she traveled to Ghana, where
she witnessed education efforts in West Africa. She
currently lives and works as an artist representative
in Chicago.
Beth Potter has over 20 years experience
in strategic marketing. She has been instrumental in
developing global pricing policies and market and product
strategies in the aerospace and defense, telecommunications,
training and consulting, and human resource outsourcing
industries. Currently, she is Vice President of Professional
Development for ISPE, a worldwide, not-for-profit society
of pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals. Beth
is a 1979 Bachelor of Science graduate of Stetson University
and a 1983 MBA graduate of the Crummer School of Business,
Rollins College.
Bill Roberts is a veteran of cable
TV operations having built and operated numerous cable
TV systems over a 30+ year career. He has developed
innovations in cable TV including remote cablecasting,
live local news & sports, and recently started a
new company providing cable, telephone, and broadband
from a single fiber-based network. His peers recognized
his efforts in 2004 by electing him to the Cable TV
Pioneers. This level of operating experience serves
him well as a telecom lobbyist at the state and national
level. He is a past president of the Stetson Alumni
Association, a past president of Rotary, and is active
in educational efforts on behalf of the University of
Tampa. Roberts received his MA degree in political science and American history in 2007.

Student Action Council
Paul Michael Commons is a student at Indiana University with a declared major in International Studies, a thematic concentration in Human Rights and Social Movements, and minors in Spanish and African Studies. He is studying Spanish, Swahili and Portuguese in hopes of traveling abroad to aid in humanitarian projects. While in high school, Paul worked to develop a Habitat for Humanity chapter in his school and during college, he has spent his summers and vacations working on similar housing projects in Mexico and Honduras. He has a keen interest in issues affecting third world advancement. Paul is the president of the Indiana University chapter of One Here...One There.
Dustin Daniels is the current president of the OHOT chapter at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Dustin, only nineteen-years-old, is a first year junior, as he graduated with his Associates Degree while still in high school. He is majoring in International Affairs, Political Science, and Social Work, with hopes of pursuing a career in International Development. In addition to being President of FSU-OHOT, he is an FSU Service Scholar, a member of the FSU Honors Council, of the Global Peace Exchange, of the Alternative Break Corps, and of the FSU Debate Team. During the spring of 2008 he will be working with orphans in the Dominican Republic with the Global Peace Exchange to build a technical school in Rwanda, as well as to deliver and administer 20,000 de-worming treatments. Dustin has strong interests in genocide prevention, international aid, and human rights.
Scott Pearson is currently an undergraduate at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Originally from Carterville, Illinois, Scott is majoring in Finance, with minors in Russian and Business Law. Along with being the current president of the OHOT chapter at Stetson, Scott is also an athlete on Stetson’s rowing crew and an active member of the Student Government Association, serving on the Academic Affairs and Policy Reform Committees. During his first year at Stetson, Scott developed a strong interest in issues that are affecting Third World countries in Africa and around the world. He hopes to make a difference within those countries through his active participation in OHOT and other related movements. In December of 2008, Scott plans to go to Africa with the Executive Branch of Stetson University’s OHOT chapter, where he will spend his time working with children.
