Twenty dollars is so little, yet so much. It is less than an evening at the movies or a college t-shirt. Yet, in some African communities, it can provide a year of schooling for one child.

University students have a rich history of global consciousness. You are invited to join other students in supporting education in sub-Saharan Africa through a gift to One Here...One There.

Students are asked to donate to One Here...One There through their college tuition billing at participating colleges. At schools where this program is not yet set up, students can:

  • Donate now. Send your tax deductible gift using the “Donate Now” button.
  • Speak with your Student Government or school administration to introduce them to the vision of One Here...One There.

There are almost 10 million students enrolled in four-year colleges and universities in the United States. So even a 10% participation rate can provide approximately $40 million a year (based on donations of $20 per semester) to help educate students in sub-Saharan Africa.

You can make a difference!
